Another Buffy Alumnus Joins ABC Next Fall, Neighbors Get Second Season

Another Buffy alumnus will be getting a new show, and good news for a Gentleman who always wanted to be a wacky neighbor. More after the jump….
Most Joss Whedon fans were happy to hear that Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD will be part of ABC’s lineup. However, other fans were happy to hear Marc Blucas, aka Riley from Buffy’s 4th and 5th seasons, got a new job on TV.

After working on USA’s Necessary Roughness, he’ll now be part of Killer Women, which is about Molly Parker, a female member of the Texas Rangers (the law enforcement kind). Tricia Helfer plays Molly. Sofia Vegara is one of the executive producers, and it’s based on a TV show from Argentina.

Meanwhile, ABC has confirmed The Neighbors will get a second season. That means more of Doug Jones, who plays an alien neighbor called Dominique Wilkins. This summer, he’ll be part of the new season of Falling Skies as the alien Cochise, who appeared at the end of last season
