Composer Bear McCreary, of Battlestar Galactica fame, won the Emmy for “Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music” for Starz Da Vinci’s Demons at the 2013 Creative Arts Emmy Awards, held earlier this evening (Sept. 15th).

This is McCreary’s second Emmy award in the category, having won in 2010 for Human Target. He most recently worked on ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Starz’s Black Sails, and AMC’s Walking Dead.
