The first season of Agent Carter ends with Leviathan planning to use one of Howard Stark’s weapons to kill thousands…and trick him into using it. Peggy will get some respect, and decides to move on with her life. There’s also an interesting cameo by someone whose presence is still felt today.
Peggy is accused of treason by her fellow SSR agents, while she tries to convince them the real enemy is Dr. Ivchenko. The truth is finally revealed, but at a high price.
Peggy is reunited with the Howling Commandoes and finally gets sent on a mission, when the SSR gets a lead on a Leviathan base where little girls learn to be deadly. Also, Dooley starts to doubt whether Stark is betraying his country.
Agent Carter is back on duty this week, and asked by Howard Stark to recover one of his inventions from the SSR. Meanwhile, Dooley travels to Germany, Dottie shows some unusual ballet moves, and we learn about the “chicken pocket”.
Agent Carter is getting closer to finding Howard Stark’s stolen weapons, but Jarvis gets questioned by the SSR…which reveals some surprising information about him.
Peggy Carter was an important agent during World War II, but in 1946, she’s just an office worker for the Statregic Scientific Reserve. Little do they realize she’s busy in secret missions to prove that Howard Stark is no traitor.
