The fifth season finale of Game of Thrones came roaring to life (or rather death) on Sunday. And if you thought things were going to slow down, think again.
Episode Nine of Game of Thrones is always a BIG episode and this one certainly was just that.
Brrr, it’s cold in here! What’s that? Oh, Winter is Coming? Yeah, they keep saying that, but I feel fine… oh, wait! It’s finally here? RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!
So much happened in the seventh episode of the season! “The Gift” was truly a “gift” to us fans and the episode did not disappoint. Lots of changes and advances!
Warning: This, by far, is going to be the most controversial episode of the season. Those final few moments are going to haunt both book and show fans for years to come.
The show continues to move forward and away from “A Song of Ice and Fire.” I’m not sure if this is a good thing or not, because we soon won’t be sure of what is a spoiler of the book series or what is totally made up for the show.
Salem is showing no signs of slowing down the paranoia, black magic, and persecution.
In WGN America’s Salem, witches are real.
For all its predictability that we’ve experienced throughout the series’ run, Merlin’s grand finale has a surprisingly surprising end. Bravo to cast, crew and writers on creating a game-changer of a finish. The series will leave you with a sense of completion, and how you feel about that completion is, of course as in all things, a matter of opinion. Without giving spoilers in the first paragraph, I can say that it was well-executed and mature.
Here it is, the penultimate episode for the Pendragons (sorry, I couldn’t resist). In “The Diamond of the Day, Part One”, Arthur’s army heads into battle at Camlan against Morgana’s dark army. With Mordred assisting her with a vengeful agenda, Morgana seems more powerful than ever. How can Merlin ever hope to uphold the prophecy’s best outcome in the face of such strong magic? Our favorite program is determined to give us an explosive finale, but I will reserve most of my judgment until the final episode airs.
